We are makers of number plates We DO NOT sell registration numbers, we simply make the plates based on you owning or having access to the V5C logbook (Registration Document) to which plates are being made for.

Legal Requirments placed on us:-

We keep a detailed record of all new number plates that are made and the details of the person who has bought them, we will fully co-operate with the authorities if the number plates are used for any illegal purposes. It is the customer's responsibility to make themselves aware of the regulations regarding Number Plates, these can be found on the DVLA website (Click Here).

We supply both UK Road Legal and ‘show' registration plates. Show registration plates are manufactured and supplied for ‘off road' use only, rally days, car shows, exhibitions and use on private land where the law does not apply. Due to stringent restrictions of trade placed upon us by the DVLA, all registration plates, legal or otherwise will be sold to the Purchaser on the basis of being for show use only and the Purchaser may risk prosecution if the registration plates are used on the UK highway.

Registration numbers must be displayed correctly. To mis-space or mis-represent your letters and numbers in any way is an offence under the Road Vehicles Regulations 1971 and we cannot guarantee that you will pass you MOT or be roadworthy as the number plate law is changing all the time. In some case we will not retain our details on the number plate so we do not hold responsibility for the plates.

All design, colours and images on this site are for guidance only, in some cases on yellow plates the colour ordered may appear darker, i.e. light blue may look green.  

Number Plate Makers has no affliation to any of the logo's used in the designs.
